Ripening indoors

by balconydresser

turningredinsideFor a moment it seemed as if autumn would last forever, when, in the blink of an eye, winter arrived: Last weekend, the temperatures fell below 0 degrees Celsius and the sun was superseded by clouds that brought rain and snow. Consequently, I had to declare the balcony season over and move the plants, which are sensitive to cold, inside the apartment. Here they are, settling down on the window sills and some of them taking advantage of the warmth by finally ripening – just like this chili pepper.
